The ocean activity book has 40 printable pages with sharks, whales, octopuses, sea turtles, clownfish, crabs, boats and a lighthouse. There is a version for each age from 3 to 9. Pick the one that fits your child and download two PDFs: one in color, and one in black and white that saves ink and copies well for a whole class.

A child who loves the ocean will find it on every page. In one maze the crab has to get back to the beach. There are animals to sort by where they live, ocean words hidden in word searches and large pictures to color at their own pace. Between activities, a question keeps the conversation going, like where the water goes once the boat has passed.

What’s inside for each age?

Ocean activities for ages 3 to 4

Seven mazes, six coloring pages, six sorting games and five tracing pages, with short word searches, connect the dots, counting and clap-the-syllables pages.

Ocean activities for ages 4 to 5

Sorting games, mazes and coloring pages carry on, and the first syllable pages and fill-in-the-word pages arrive.

Ocean activities for ages 5 to 6

Six mazes, five word searches, rhyming pages and fill-in-the-word pages for children who are starting to read.

Ocean activities for ages 6 to 7

Five pages for swapping the first sound to make new words, two crosswords, word searches and six mazes, with less coloring and more reading than the level before.

Ocean activities for ages 7 to 9

Nine longer mazes, six word searches, crosswords and missing-letter pages for children who already read on their own.

Can I try it before I buy?

The ocean activity book page has a free sample for each age, with one page of each activity in the book. It shows whether the level suits your child before you get all 40 pages.

Who makes the pictures?

The animals, the boats and the lighthouse come from our own 3D models, built for Idunn, and the coloring line art is drawn from them. Each activity is set up for its age with the settings we choose for every level, such as how wide the maze paths are or how long the words get.

Can it have my child’s name on it?

That’s the personalized activity book, with your child’s name on the cover and a character you build to look like them. It arrives as a PDF, usually within minutes, so it works as a birthday present printed that same morning and colored in the afternoon.
